Camiseta Colorful concrete y pantalón Daily routine de la Ottobre 5/2015.
Hicimos las fotos un día de muchísimo viento y un frío polar que me heló hasta las venas, pero yo allí aguantando con mis mangas tres cuartos jajaja. ¡Lo que sea por el RUMS!

Primero hice la camiseta, con una tela roja de punto de viscosa que no me convencía mucho y tenía por ahí de hacía tiempo. La viscosa se pega mucho al cuerpo y me marca todos los kilos de más ejem... pero por otro lado tiene una caída más elegante que el algodón... al final me gusta el resultado, aunque con cuidado de sacar las fotos siempre de espaldas al viento y sin respirar jaja... Como modificaciones, mangas 3/4 primaverales ideales para el frío que acaba de llegar no? jajaja... pero es que no me llegó la tela para más. No le hice la costura central delantera porque me daba miedo que quedara mal, pero la de detrás sí la mantuve porque le da cierta curvatura a la espalda. Y al final quedó bien y todo!

Una vez con la camiseta hecha, no tenía nada con que combinarla, y se me antojaron unos leggings de imitación piel. Utilicé el patrón Daily routine, me gustan esas costuras laterales, aunque el pantalón sea liso le da cierto toque. Tuve que estrecharlos bastante para que se quedaran bien ajustados sin arrugas... pero esa tela da de sí muy rápido, así que igual tendría que estrechar más? Pero luego igual no me los puedo poner jaja...

Estos días se complica llegar al RUMS, La locura navideña se apoderó de mí y tengo una lista desbordante de regalos para coser que da miedo. mucho mucho miedo. Eso sí, por lo menos habrá otro RUMS, uno muy chulo y conjunto con Yolanda de Pandielleando! Y el Bolso Bando de Naii no me lo pierdo por nada del mundo, espero llegar! El Mini+Yo de La Pantigana me lo tendré que saltar, más que nada porque no tengo mini jeje... pero estoy deseando ver los vuestros!

Kitty Pyjamas

Mi primer pijama. No el primero que tengo, claro :-D, pero sí el primero que me coso y el primero que no me va corto de mangas y piernas después de años usando pijamas de esos que te regalaron un año por Navidad pero que no te gustan nada y que te van grandes o pequeños o te quedan cortos o te sientan fatal pero los sigues usando hasta que están viejos y encogidos y con descosidos y mejor no sigo jaja... A veces aprovechamos la ropa demasiado, sobretodo la de estar por casa, ¿verdad? 

El pantalón es un Sammalikko de la Ottobre 5/2014, ese patrón me encanta y ya he hecho varios. La camiseta es el patrón gratuito Kaschi de Alles für Selbermacher. Me la hice más larga, igual que las mangas y el pantalón, todo extralargo que aunque se encoja me siga quedando largo, y que sea cómodo y que sea largo jaja... ¿Se nota mucho que tengo un trauma con los pijamas demasiado cortos? 

En la camiseta me pinté un gatito porque no había suficientes en el resto del pijama :-P. Lo hice con la técnica del freezer paper, aunque yo voy a lo cutre y lo hago con aironflix, porque ya lo tenía en casa y así lo aprovecho. Es uno que no pega mucho, pero lo suficiente para aguantar en su sitio en la tela y después quitarlo con facilidad. 

Pues ale, ¡ya podremos dormir a gusto! Ribi también tendrá pijama nuevo, está cortado y listo para coser.

Endlich einen neuen Pyjama für mich! Es war schon Zeit! Alle meine Pyjamas waren zu alt und zu kurz. Die Hose ist eine Sammalikko von Ottobre 5/2014 und für das Shirt habe ich den kostenlosen Kaschi Schnittmuster von Alles für Selbermacher benutzt. Ich habe den Shirt, die Ärmel und die Hose extralang gemacht, und auch ein Kätzchen gemalt.

Jetzt können wir gut schlafen! Ribi Wird auch neuen Pyjama bekommen, ich habe es schon geschnitten und zum Nähen bereit.

Finally a new pyjamas! It was about time, all my pyjamas were super old and shabby and specially too short after years of shrinking slowly or because they were already too short to start with... And in winter, when you get into a cold bed, these few extra cm at the end of arms and legs do make a difference!

For the pants, I used the Sammalikko pattern once again, from Ottobre 5/2014. The shirt is the free pattern Kaschi from Alles für Selbermacher. I did it all extralong, because I already repeated myself enough, but I do like long pyjamas that cover my whole length hehe. I also painted a cat on the front, because you know, there weren't already enough kitties on the thing hehe.

Now we will sleep like in a dream! Ribi will also get one, it is cut and ready to sew.

Mosquito Shirt

Después de un largooooo verano rodeada de mosquitos tigre, parece que no tuve bastante y ahora me los llevo puestos jeje. Pero oye, si no puedes con el enemigo, ¡únete a él! :-D 

Camiseta sencilla, no hay mucho que explicar. Es el patrón Suolampi de la Ottobre 5/2014, pero sin el fruncido. Utilicé la parte de arriba del patrón y después bajé recto. También amplié el escote, aunque hubiese quedado mejor aún un poco más escotado creo... La tela es de Lillestoff y me encanta, es de camiseta pero algo más gruesa, muy agradable al tacto y cómoda.

Den Sommer ist zu Ende, aber die Mücken bleiben bei mir! :-)

It was a long summer surrounded by tiger mosquitos, but it seems like I don't want to let them go! 

I made my new shirt from the Suolampi pattern from Ottobre 5/2014, but without the gathers at the side. The fabric is from Lillestoff and I love it, it's so nice and comfortable to wear.

Swoon Scarf Neck Cardigan

Vamos a por el RUMS de esta semana con el nuevo jersey que me he hecho!
Quise probar un patrón gratuito, el Swoon Scarf Neck Cardigan y me encanta el resultado. No sin incidentes, claro, y es que justo a tiempo para el día de los fallos del ABCDlacostura, no pensé en comprobar el cuadro hasta después de haber pegado todo el patrón... Escala incorrecta, así que vuelve a imprimir y a pegarlo todo aixxxx... Pero seré positiva y me alegraré de haberme dado cuenta antes de cargarme la tela :-D.

¡Me gusta como ha quedado! Fue muy fácil de coser, hasta cuando llegué al dobladillo y me entraron sudores al imaginar todas las posibilidades de desastre... Me daba miedo que quedara todo ondulado y deforme con ese tipo de tela, así que lo reforcé con una fliselina de esa que viene en tiras para los dobladillos de los pantalones, que pega por los dos lados. ¡La tenía hace años y todavía sin usar!

Diese Woche zeige ich im RUMS meine neue Feinstrickjacke. Ich habe ein kostenloses Schnitmusster benutzt, das Swoon Scarf Neck Cardigan, und ich bin mit dem Ergebnis total zufrieden! Natürlich habe ich das Kästchen nicht gemessen und dann das Schnittmuster zweimal drücken und kleben müssen... Aber na ja, zumindest habe ich es bemerket bevor ich in den Stoff ging!

This week I am going to show my new cardigan, that I made from a free sewing pattern, the Swoon Scarf Neck Cardigan. I am really happy with the result, and that will have to make me forget that I needed to print and tape the pattern twice because the first time I didn't check the measurement box... At least I realised before going into the fabric!

¡Octubre Sin Tele!No TV October!

Hace una semana empezamos nuestro reto Octubre sin tele, y he de decir que estoy super contenta! Los primeros dos días fueron críticos. Con la costumbre tan arraigada de tirarnos en el sofá a partir de cierta hora, llegaba la hora y como que el cuerpo se iba solo a coger el mando jaja, además yo estaba resfriada y sin energías, con lo que tampoco apetecía hacer nada más. Pero lo logramos. Después ha sido fácil, hemos tenido cenas agradables con buena conversación, con o sin invitados, algunos días me he puesto a coser después de cenar, otros nos fuimos a la cama más temprano y descansamos super bien. En resumen, en solo dos días nos desenganchamos de la tele y ahora estamos disfrutando y aprovechando al máximo un tiempo que antes perdíamos.

Die zwei ersten Tage one Fernseh waren sehr schwer. Aber danach war es einfach und wunderbar. Nach eine Woche ohne Fernseh bin ich mir sehr sicher was für eine gute Idee das war. Wir haben die Abende besser genutzt. Schöne Abendessen gehabt, ich habe mehr genäht, wir sind früher ins Bett gegangen. Es ist so unglaublich dass wir nur zwei Tage brauchten um das Fernseh nicht zu vermissen!

One week ago we started our No TV October challenge and I must say that I am totally happy! The first two days were critical. It was like our bodies automatically wanted and needed to lay on the couch and turn the TV on after certain hour in the evening. Besides I was sick and lacking energy, so I really wasn't up for doing anything else. But we managed. And after those two days it has been easy, actually I didn't have any single thought about the TV and we just enjoy our free time so much better. We had nice dinners at the table with good conversation, some days I have sewn after eating for a while, other days we've gone to bed earlier and had a good rest. We are enjoying the lack of TV and using our free time so much better now, and it only took two days!

5 Minute Skirt

Y seguimos aprovechando telas. Después de hacer pantalones para toda la family, aproveché la tela de sudadera que me sobró para hacerme una falda en un plis plas. Super sencilla, con goma en la cinturilla. Seguí este tutorial de GrinseStern y me encanta el resultado! Cuando haga más frío quedará chula con botas y un jersey más grueso, y gorro y bufanda... ¿He dicho ya que tengo ganas de frío? jaja... Como la tela ya la tenía de otra costura y se trata de aprovechar lo que hay en casa, enlazo en el reto Vuelta al Cole de Hilos y Más.

Für diesen Rock habe ich die 5 Minuten Rock Anleitung von GrinseStern benutzt. Der Stoff hatte ich noch danach ich mehrere Hose für die ganze Familie genäht habe. Er ist einen super einfachen Rock, habe aber doch ein bisschen mehr als 5 Minuten gebraucht hehe. So bequem, und im Winter wird er super aussehen mit Stiefeln und einem dickeren Pulli und Mütze und alles warm. Habe ich schon gesagt dass ich keine Lust mehr auf Hitze habe? Nach dem langen Sommer, jetzt brauche ich wirklich die Kälte schon wieder!

I love my new skirt! It was made following the 5 Minute Skirt tutorial by GrinseStern, and I used this cool sweatshirt fabric that I had leftover after sewing pants for almost my whole family. It is really comfortable to wear and it will look great with boots and a thicker pullover when it gets colder. Have I already mentioned that I am absolutely fed up of the heat? After such a long summer I am really looking forward to some cold.

The summer is gone but then it is not gone T-shirt

Estaba yo harta de pasar calor y deseando que llegara el frío, así que al primer leve cambio de temperaturas salté de alegría gritando "¡¡¡¡¡The Winter is Coming!!!!!" y ataqué el armario guardando toda la ropa de verano y bajando la de invierno.... Y después volvió a salir el sol, y yo en manga larga asándome. ¡Es que no tengo remedio! Rebuscando encontré esta tela que tenía desde hace mucho y no la había utilizado aún porque es de viscosa y le tengo un poco de manía a la viscosa.... ¡Pero necesitaba al menos una camiseta de manga corta hasta que llegue de verdad el otoño!

Nada especial, el patrón es copiado de una camiseta comprada, igual que la de esta entrada. Me gusta como queda el escote así cortado para que se enrolle. La tela es de viscosa pero no de esas tan finas que se pegan al cuerpo marcando todo lo que no quieres que se marque, así que aún me ha quedado ponible, y como ya la tenía por casa, voy a enlazarlo al Reto Vuelta al Cole. 

Juro que la planché antes de ponérmela :-S Y el minino se llama Yeti, lleva solo dos meses con nosotros y nos tiene enamorados ♥.

Solid and Striped # 2

¡Estoy en modo costuril 100%! Teníamos planeado ir de viaje durante estas vacaciones, pero después de recalcular el tema económico decidimos que era mejor no gastar tanto y quedarnos en casita. Así que en lugar de gastar en viajes me lo gasté en telas jaja... ¡Mi máquina de coser está que echa humo!

Hace casi dos semanas que empecé el blog, obtuve más de 1500 visitas y recibí bastantes comentarios. ¡Estoy que no me lo creo! Realmente pensaba que nadie se pararía a leerme, estoy muy sorprendida y muy contenta.

Esta es mi segunda versión de la Solid and Striped de Ottobre 5/2015. Podéis ver la primera aquí. ¡Me encanta este patrón! Esta vez la he hecho de rayas con mangas tres cuartos. De nuevo he estrechado las mangas y ampliado el escote un poco, e intenté casar las rayas lo mejor posible. La tela es punto de algodón algo gruesa que da a la camiseta una buena estructura.

Es sind schon fast zwei Wochen seitdem ich das Blog gestartet habe, ich habe mehr als 1500 Besuchen und viele Kommentare, total Überraschung! Ich habe gedacht meine Sachen hier würden niemand interessieren! Es ist echt schwer auf Deutsch zu schreiben und es ist mir sehr peinlich euch alle meine Fehler zu zeigen. Ich will es aber verbessern so üben muss ich... Ich lese viel aber schreibe nicht so oft, und dann fehlen mir die Wörter und die Grammatik. Es war viel viel besser als ich in Deutschland gewohnt habe, da habe ich sooo viel gelernt, aber das war ja 20 Jahre her! Wahrscheinlich das beste Jahr mein ganzes Lebens! Sehr liebe Grüsse an meiner Gastfamilie, wo immer sie jezt sind!

Das zweite Solid and Striped von Ottobre 5/2015! Dieses Mal das Striped mit 3/4 Ärmel. Wie früher, ich habe die Ärmel schmaler gemacht. Der Stoff ist Baumwolljersey der etwas dicker ist und mir gefällt es sehr!

I am in a sewing spree! We were supposed to go on a trip during these dates, but after some recalculation we realized it would be better not to spend that much... So instead I spent on fabrics lol, and for the last couple of weeks my sewing machine has been at full speed! It is almost two weeks since I started the blog, and I got more than 1500 views and a lot of comments. Crazy unbelievable!! I really didn't expect anyone to read my blog. I am so happily surprised!

This is my second take on the Solid and Striped pattern from Ottobre 5/2015. You can see the first here. I love this pattern! This time I did the striped version with 3/4 sleeves. Again, I narrowed the sleeves and widened the neckline a bit, and I did try to match the stripes to the best of my ability. The fabric is a thicker cotton jersey that gives the shirt a good structure. I really hate the flimsy fabrics that cling to your body.

Merino Love - Plantain Shirt

El pasado fin de semana fuimos al Tibidabo de Barcelona, hacía muchísimos años de la última visita, ni me acordaba de lo impresionantes que son las vistas de la ciudad desde allá arriba! Estamos ya en ese tiempo en que con manga larga me sobra, pero con manga corta me falta, así que me decidí por una 3/4 de lana jaja... Después resultó ser un día de tirantes y shorts... pero a lo hecho pecho :-D

Letztes Wochenende sind wir zu Tibidabo gegangen, das ist ein superschönes und historisches Vergnügungspark in Barcelona. Es ist hoch auf dem Berg und man hat ein tolles Panoramablick auf die ganze Stadt. Ich habe mich entschieden für das Shirt aus Merinowolle und dann war ich echt zu warm den ganzen Tag haha... aber wir haben noch Spass gehabt! :)

Last weekend we went to Tibidabo, a very beautiful amusement park with long history in Barcelona. Since it is up on the hill, you get such an amazing view of the whole city. Totally recommended for any visitors! The weather forecast was wrong, so my merino wool shirt gave me the really hot day lol. But we enjoyed a lot! :)

Me encantan las telas de punto de lana de merino. Son muy cálidas y agradables en invierno. Desde que las probé, me despedí de las camisetas térmicas de poliéster... Sí, sí, es que una es friolera. El único problema es el precio. Son telas muy caras. He hecho varias camisetas para mí y mi marido, aprovechando ofertas y/o momentos de locura para comprarlas en dos tiendas: Shelby, de Finlandia, donde solo tienen un tipo, pero está muy bien para camisetas interiores. Además, en su página también ofrecen patrones gratuitos muy interesantes. La otra tienda es New Zealand Merino and Fabrics, de Nueva Zelanda. Aquí tienen muchísima variedad, y precios algo más asequibles según la tela y las ofertas, pero después el envío es caro, más las aduanas... Aún así, tienen telas preciosas y me he dado el capricho un par de veces, la camiseta que os muestro hoy es de esta última tienda. He visto telas de punto de merino en otras tiendas, pero aún más caras. Si alguien sabe de otra tienda que esté bien, soy todo oídos! 

Ich liebe die Merinowolle Jerseystoffe, sie sind super warm und angenehm im Winter. Jetzt trage ich keine Polyester thermische Shirts mehr! Das Problem ist aber, dass diese Stoffe sehr Teuer sind. Ich habe bis jetzt in zwei Plätzen gekauft: Shelby aus Finland und New Zealand Merino and Fabrics aus Neuseeland. Shelby hat nur eine Sorte aber in tolle Qualität und auf ihre Seite findet man auch tolle kostenlose Schnittmuster. Die aus Neuseeland hat ein riesiges Sortiment und nicht zu verrückte Preise, aber die Sendung ist sehr teuer. Der Stoff das ich euch heute zeige ist aus diesen Laden in Neuseeland. Ich habe Merinowolle in andere Laden gesehen, aber immer in so einen super teuer Preis... Wenn ihr andere Laden kennt, bitte mir sagen!

I love merino wool knit fabrics, they are super warm and pleasant to wear in winter. Since I tried them, I am not wearing any more polyester thermal shirts. The only problem is the price. Those fabrics are really expensive. Still, now and then I use the chance when there is sales, or when I get the insane mood :-). I've made several shirts for me and my husband, and have bought the fabrics in two places so far: Shelby from Finland, and New Zealand Merino and Fabrics, from New Zealand. Shelby offers only one type of that fabric, in a few different colors, it is good quality and super warm and we normally use it for inner shirts. Also, they offer very interesting free sewing patterns on their site. The New Zealand shop has a huge variety, many different fabric types and weights in 100% merino, or merino blends, which are a bit more affordable. I love this store, and the prices are fairly reasonable compared to merinos elsewhere, but the shipping to Europe, plus the customs, are insanely expensive. I have seen merino knits in other stores but haven't tried them, specially because the prices are even higher. If you know any other good source for this type of fabric, please let me know!

Estas telas son una pasada. Transpiran muy bien, se secan rápido y no cogen malos olores. Si las ventilas puedes llevarlas varios días sin problemas. De hecho son ideales para viajar ligero de equipaje. Y para muestra un botón. Esta camiseta ha estado de trekking en el Himalaya, caminando 8 horas al día, absorbiendo litros de sudor, la llevé durante 4 días seguidos. La negra que lleva mi marido en la foto también es de merino, en ese caso la tela es de Shelby. Además, se lavan bien. En la lavadora, con programa de lana o delicado, y sin usar suavizante, quedan perfectas. Esta tiene ya un año y la he lavado muchas veces, sigue como nueva.

Diese Stoffe sind wunderbar. sehr atmungsaktiv, schnell trocknend. Mit gute Belüftung nehmen sie keine unangenehme Geruche und können mehrere Tage getragen werden. Perfekt für das Verreisen mit leichtem Gepäck. Tatsächlich, dieses Shirt habe ich im Himalayatrekking für 4 Tagen getragen, da sind wir 8 Stunden am Tag gelaufen, und sehr sehr viel geschwitzt. Das schwarze Shirt meines Mannes ist auch aus Merino, in diesem Fall, aus Shelby. Auch, die Merinowolle ist einfach zu waschen, in der Maschine mit der Wolle- oder Schonwaschgang, ohne Weichspüler. Diese habe ich letztes Jahr genäht und seitdem mehrere Male gewaschen, und es ist immer noch wie das erste Tag.

These fabrics are amazing. Extremely breathable, and they dry fast. If you air them, they do not get any bad smells and you can wear them for many days. It is perfect when you travel lightweight. Actually, this same shirt was in a trekking in the Himalaya, we were walking 8 hours a day, sweating like hell. I wore it for four days. The black one that my husband is wearing is also a merino, in this case the fabric and the free pattern used are from Shelby. Also, they are easy to care for. You can wash them in the machine, with the wool or delicate program, and without fabric softener. This one is already one year old and has been washed many times, and it is still like new.

Solid and Striped and Boats

Heute traue ich mich auf Deutsch zu schreiben. Nur mit Übung geht es besser, oder? Also bitte alle meine Fehler entschuldigen :-S. Hier kommt das erste T-shirt von Ottobre 5/2015, und zwar das Solid and Striped Shirt. Diese Raglanärmel gefallen mir sehr! Ich habe die Größe 44 genäht und nur mit ein paar Änderungen: die Ärmel habe ich schmaler gemacht und den Kragen ein bißchen weiter. Der Stoff ist Baumwolljersey von Dawanda und ich bin in den süßen Schiffen total verliebt!

Today I am showing you my first make from the Ottobre 5/2015. I just subscribed myself to the magazine and I received it so fast, just two days after the release date! This is the Solid and Striped long sleeve t-shirt pattern in size 44. It fit perfectly and I only did a couple of adjustments: I made the sleeves narrower, the neckline a little bit wider and added an accent in another fabric on the sleeves. The fabric is cotton jersey with cute red boats all over that I bought in Dawanda. I love the unconventional raglan sleeves and I am going to get a good wear of this one!

Hoy os muestro mi primera costura de la Ottobre 5/2015. Me suscribí hace poco a la revista y me llegó rapidísimo, tan solo 2 días después de su publicación! Esta es la camiseta Solid and Striped, que me llamó la atención con esas mangas raglán diferentes. Cosí la 44 y me va perfecta, los únicos ajustes que hice fueron estrechar las mangas, que habían quedado demasiado anchas para mi gusto, y ampliar un poco el escote. Además, añadí una parte en tela diferente en las mangas. La tela es en punto de algodón con unos barquitos monísimos. La compré online en Dawanda.

Avui us ensenyo la primera costura de la Ottobre 5/2015. M'hi vaig subscriure fa ben poc i va arribar molt ràpid, només 2 dies després de la data de publicació! Aquesta és la samarreta Solid and Striped, les mànigues raglan diferents em van cridar l'atenció. Vaig cosir la talla 44 i em va clavada, només vaig estrènyer les mànigues, que havien quedat massa amples pel meu gust, i vaig fer una mica més ample el coll. A més, hi vaig afegir un tros d'un altre color a les mànigues. La roba és de punt de cotó amb unes barquetes molt mones. La vaig comprar online a Dawanda....
