Today I am here to show you my new make in very good company of Imilce from Manos Revoltosas.
Last week we both loved the skirt that Pandielleando made for herself, and so here we are today, shamelessly copying the idea. Don't miss Imilce's version here!

La semana pasada nos quedamos ambas prendadas de la falda que nos mostró Pandielleando, así que aquí estamos hoy con un auténtico "¡tu rollo me suena e imitarte es admirarte, Yolanda!". No os perdáis la versión de Imilce aquí.
I had already seen long ago this type of skirt made with an old pair of jeans upside down, and I was dying to have my own but for one reason or the other I never came to actually make it. Until now, and I couldn't be happier!
Hacía tiempo que había visto estas faldas hechas con unos vaqueros boca abajo y me moría de ganas de hacerme una, pero aquello que lo vas dejando por A o por B. Cuánto me alegro de tenerla por fin. Me parece super divertida y la voy a usar un montón.
I grabbed an old pair of ill-fitting jeans and started the surgery.
Cogí unos vaqueros viejos que me quedaban fatal y empecé la transformación.
It is the easiert skirt to make. I took the jeans and cut it to the skirt length. Then unpicked the leg seams and sewed them front to front and back to back to obtain the skirt.
La falda es muy fácil de coser. Simplemente corté los vaqueros al largo de la falda y descosí las costuras de las piernas para volverlas a coser delante y detrás.
I used ribbing at the waist, cutting it quite wide so that I can wear it folded down.
La cintura la hice con puño, cortándolo bastante ancho para llevarlo doblado hacia abajo.
And I can tell you that this would also work the other way around. I did actually try the skirt on with the ribbing at the bottom and it does look good too! I will show you a pic another day.

¿Y si os digo que la falda del revés también queda bien del otro revés? jajaja... Me la probé en el otro sentido, con el puño abajo y también queda genial! Otro día os enseño foto.
Para las fotos de hoy he combinado la falda con esta sudadera que ya publiqué el pasado invierno aquí. Parece que ¿por fin? ha llegado el frío.
Now, what do you see different in today's pics? hehehe... yes, this is my first time with the camera remote shutter. It feels like I will need a lot of practice to get decent pictures. But the photographer is not always available, specially during the week, and this will be really useful. Today's pics were taken in a rush, as in "I just finished the skirt and must take pics before it gets dark so that I can post tomorrow!".
¿Qué veis diferente hoy? ¡Por fin tengo un disparador remoto! Que aunque tengo un fotógrafo muy dispuesto, el pobre no está siempre disponible, sobretodo entre semana. Me va a ser muy útil el aparatito, a ver si le pillo el truco y con algo de práctica consigo fotos decentes. Las fotos de hoy fueron sacadas rápido a última hora... Lo que tiene acabar la falda un día para publicarla al siguiente y en medio tener que hacer fotos antes de que oscurezca.
