Hoy vengo a #maromartes y a #mrhandmade en muy buena compañía y con unos Cargo Shorts algo sucios y arrugados :). Esta vez nos hemos juntado cinco costureras para hacer felices a nuestros costillos, no os perdáis sus versiones, toda chulísimas:

I have made a second pair of Cargo Shorts for my hubby and today I am showing them to you here, all dirty and wrinkled :). This time I have sewn them together with four other blogger friends, and you really do not want to miss their cool makes on the links above.

Después de los primeros que le cosí y que ya os enseñé aquí, Ribi quería otros. Y sus deseos son órdenes. Especialmente ahora, que estoy a puntito de darme un capricho costuril de los gordos, así que toca mimarlo a tope y hacerle la pelota todo lo posible para que siga totalmente convencido de lo imprescindible que es este hobby mío :P.

I already showed you the first shorts here. Ribi loved them and asked for a second pair. And I was more than ready to fulfill his wish, specially at this time, because in a few days I am getting a new baby in the house, and you know what I mean by baby if I talk sewing, right? So now I have to keep doing my biggest effort to keep him happy and convinced of how important this hobby of mine is lol.

Por si alguien aún no sabe qué patrón es este, son los Cargo Shorts de Wardrobre by Me. Para que se vieran diferentes de la primera versión que cosí como tester, esta vez he omitido los bolsillos laterales y refuerzo trasero. Parece mentira que con el mismo patrón parece un pantalón totalmente distinto.

If you still don't know what this pattern is: Cargo Shorts by Wardrobe by Me. In the first version that I made as a tester, I included the pockets and back reinforcement, which looked really cool. This time I decided to omit them, to make the pants look different. It is amazing how with the same pattern it looks like two completely different shorts.

La tela, como siempre, la sarga Doker de Cal Joan. Cuando algo te gusta, pues repites... y repites. Entre los shorts y los chinos que os enseñé la semana pasada, ya son tres costuras con esta sarga que me encanta. De hecho, si no me equivoco, las cinco que nos hemos juntado hemos utilizado la misma tela!

The fabric, again, is cotton stretch twill from Cal Joan. When you love something, you repeat... and repeat. I have used this fabric in the two shorts and the chinos that I showed you last week. Actually, all five bloggers posting our shorts today have used the same fabric!

Alguien me preguntó el otro día si esta tela se arruga, y yo le dije que no mucho, y después voy y publico estos así como están jaja... Aquí no planchamos mucho y no somos muy exigentes con eso... pero si recién lavados los tiendo bien, y después los guardo bien plegaditos, quedan perfectamente ponibles sin plancha. Pero claro, si te vas de camping y se quedan tirados en la bolsa de cualquier manera durante dos días, pues entonces salen como salen. Y de camping me llevo muchos trastos, esta vez hasta la tostadora, pero la plancha como que no.

Someone asked me the other day if this fabric gets wrinkled and I answered that not that much, and then I come and post the shorts looking like this lol. So, we don't really iron clothes much here, unless it is completely unavoidable. If I hang the shorts to dry and afterwards store them carefully, they look perfectly fine. But if you go on a camping trip and the shorts are all messed up inside the bag for a couple of days, then of course things will get ugly. And I obviously did not bring my iron to camping.

Chino Pants

Después de los Cargo Shorts, Wardrobe by Me acaba de lanzar nuevo patrón chulo chulo para hombre. Y yo me he apuntado otra vez como tester para poder ser de las primeras en coserlo. Ribi se siente super afortunado de haberse casado con tan magnífica costurera jaja. Digo yo que cuando me regaló hace años la máquina de coser así sin venir a cuento, igual ya lo tenía todo planeado. No es listo ni nada el tío jajaja.

Wardrobe by Me did it again. They have just released another amazing men's pattern. And I did it again too, signed up for the test and made the husband feel the luckiest for having such an amazing sewist wife lol. Well that was maybe his secret plan all the time, back then when he bought me the sewing machine out of the blue years ago. Clever guy!

Los nuevos Chino Pants me encantan. Es un patrón perfecto, así modernos y estrechitos como a Ribi le gustan. Ya me ha avisado de que como mínimo le tengo que hacer otros.

The new Chino Pants are amazing. It is an incredibly well drafted pattern, with a modern slim fit. Ribi loves them and I will be surely making another pair at least.

Después de dos Cargo Shorts y de estos, ya empiezo a sentirme segura en la costura de pantalones. Voy a confesar que uno de los principales alicientes de los tester es que te comprometes a hacerlos y tienes fecha límite. Si no... estas costuras más complicadillas demasiadas veces se me quedan a medias por pura pereza. Pero bueno, després de coser tres para Ribi, digo yo que me tendré que lanzar a hacer unos pantalones o tejanos de verdad para mí un día de estos!

After sewing two Cargo Shorts and these ones, I am starting to feel confident about sewing pants! One of the best things about being a tester is that you commit to actually sew it, and you have a deadline. Otherwise these more complicated makes too often are left half done in the too-lazy-to-challenge-myself-and-finish-it pile. But now I am not scared of pants anymore and I think it is about time that I start seriously considering making some real pants/jeans for myself. 

La tela que he usado es, de nuevo, la sarga Doker de Cal Joan. La he cosido ya en tres colores y si repito es porque me encanta. Se cose genial, a Ribi le encanta lo cómodos que quedan los pantalones con la elasticidad de la tela, y yo estoy deseando en secreto que añadan más colores en la tienda! Por pedir que no quede!

Once again, I used stretch cotton twill fabric from Cal Joan. I have sewn this fabric in three colours already, and am secretly hoping that they will add new colors to their shop someday! 

En las fotos se ve lo bien que le sientan a Ribi los pantalones. Vamos, que incluso me lo he puesto de fondo de pantalla, porque se ha convertido en todo un top model jaja. En realidad, le van un pelín justos en las pantorrillas, pero eso no es ningún problema. Primero porque como la tela es elástica, él dice que son super cómodos, y segundo, porque en la versión final del patrón se ha ampliado 2 cm de ancho de las rodillas hacia abajo, así que los próximos serán perfectos.

As you can see in the pictures, the pants are a bit tight on the calfs. But this is no problem at all for two reasons. The first one is that the fabric has good strecth and Ribi feels completely comfortable in them. And the second is that this is the tester version. On the final version of the pattern there are extra 2 cm added to the width from knee to bottom, so the next pants will fit even better.

Para acompañar los pantalones, le he hecho otra camiseta Bram Raglan, también de WBM. Esta vez con tela de punto de lino de The Sweet Mercerie. Esta tela me gusta tanto que cuando la pusieron super rebajada de precio durante las rebajas no me pude resistir y compré varios metros en diferentes colores. Este gris cálido queda genial con los chinos.

To pair with the pants I made another Bram Raglan Tee, also from WBM. I used linen jersey from The Sweet Mercerie. I love this fabric so much, and when they had it on sale for an insanely reduced price I couldn't help myself and grabbed a few meters in different colors. This brownish grey is a perfect match for the pants.

El punto de lino es una tela muy finita y fresca, perfecta para el verano. No tiene una buena recuperación, al no tener elastano, por lo que tiende a dar de sí. Para compensarlo, corté la tira del cuello un poco más corta para que aguante mejor la forma. Por otro lado, tiene una caída y un tacto super chulos y es básicamente lo que le encanta a Ribi, algo liso y discreto pero con un toque especial

Linen jersey is quite lightweight and cool, perfect for summer. The fabric doesn't have a good recovery, that means that it tends to stretch out. On the other hand, it has an unique drape, so different from cotton jersey. To compensate the lack of recovery of the fabric, I cut the neck band a bit shorter so that it keeps the shape better.

Los bolsillos traseros de tapeta de los Chino Pants son los mismos que en los Cargo Shorts, y creo que es el método más fácil que he visto hasta ahora para hacerlos. La bragueta me dio problemas otras vez... pero a la tercera va la vencida y aunque tuve que descoser, logré detectar cuál era mi problema con la dichosa cremallera. Las instrucciones son bastante claras, pero mi cremallera nunca acababa donde se supone que tendría que acabar. Hasta que me di cuenta de que tenía cremalleras de varios anchos. En los pantalones había usado las más anchas todas las veces. Probé con una de las más estrechas y por arte de magia todo cuadró a la perfección, así que a partir de ahora ya sé qué cremallera usar y ya no habrá bragueta que se me resista.

The welt pockets on the Chino Pants are exactly the same as is the Cargo Shorts, and the method for sewing them is the easiest I have ever tried. The zip fly gave me problems again... for the third time... But at least I did find out what my problem was. The instructions are clear, but my zipper never ended on the right place. Then I discovered that I had different zippers in different widths. I had used the widest ones all the time. I tried with the narrower and magic happened! So from now on, I know which zippers to use and no zip fly is going to resist again!

El patrón es genial y solo puedo recomendarlo. Si os gusta, que sepáis que los Chino Pants está de oferta hasta finales de mes.

This is a really great pattern and I can only recommend it. If you like it, don't miss your chance, the Chino Pants will be on release sale until the end of the month.

Helga Playsuit

Hace un par de semanas os enseñaba mi Kielo Dress, desde The Sweet Mercerie me habían mandado la tela y el patrón para probarlos. La cantidad de tela que recibí era tan generosa que ha sido suficiente para sacar otro modelito.

A couple weeks ago I showed my Kielo Dress. The Sweet Mercerie sent me the pattern and this fabric to try it, and the amount they sent was so generous that it was enough to make another outfit.

Como disfruté tanto con el Kielo, me apetecía otro patrón de Named, y me decidí por el Helga Wrap Playsuit. Es un mono abierto y cruzado por delante. Se ata con un lazo en la cintura. El patrón está pensado para tela plana, pero yo lo he hecho en tela de punto y no ha habido ningún problema.

I enjoyed sewing the Kielo and wanted to try another Named pattern, so I chose the Helga Wrap Playsuit. It is an open playsuit crossed in the front. You tie it with a cord at the waist. The pattern is for wovens, but I went ahead with my knit and had no problems.

Por detrás se ve que es un mono, y me encanta como queda. Para los tirantes de los hombros usé un cordón reciclado que tenía por aquí.

From the back it looks like a playsuit, and I really love it. For the shoulder straps I used a recicled cord.

Por delante, como va cruzado, parece un vestido y da la sensación de ser un poco demasiado corto. Pero bueno, con estas temperaturas que estamos teniendo hay que ir lo más fresco posible!

The front is crossed over so it looks like a dress and gives the impression of being too short. It definetely would be if it was a dress! But it is not hehe. And afterall, with this heat, the less fabric covering me, the better.

Es mi primera aproximación a un mono, también la primera vez que llevo uno, y casi me hago daño para ir a un baño público y conseguir que nada toque el suelo jaja. Eso de tener que desnudarse entera para hacer pis es un poco incómodo. Y si encima es cruzado y cuelgan los cordones, ya no veas.

This is my first approximation to a playsuit, also the first time wearing one, and I almost hurt myself going to a public toilet and trying that nothing touches the ground. Having to completely undress oneself to pee is a bit uncomfortable, specially being crossed and with the waist cords hanging.

Eso sí, disfruté mucho cosiendo y quizás incluso más haciendo las fotos :).
Esta tela me encanta, y si os interesa, creo que aún la venden en The Sweet Mercerie.

But for sure, I enjoyed sewing it and we had much fun taking the pictures.

Marilyn Bikini

Otro miércoles, otro MiMi, otro bikini. Hoy os enseño el Marilyn Bikini de Wardrobe by Me. Me lo cosí hace ya unas semanas así que ya estaba tardando en publicarlo. Es mi tercer bikini de este año. Muy diferente a los otros dos (este y este), tanto en diseño como en uso. Los otros son sin gomas, no marcan nada y quedan genial, pero como bien explicó Mei, son más de postureo, o sea para ir de tranquis y no mover demasiado el body. Necesitaba otro que fuera todoterreno, para poder saltar olas, tirarme de cabeza a la piscina y hacer el tonto sin, ejem, perder las bragas.

Today I am here to show you my new Marilyn Bikini by Wardrobe by Me. The third bikini this summer! The first two (here and here) are quite different from this one. Those don't have any elastics, and although they look great, they are only suitable when you don't plan to move much. If you are going to jump into the pool, or play with the waves at the sea, you risk loosing the bottom lol. And yes. It happened. So I needed something that would stay in place! I made it a few weeks ago and it was about time to post it here.

Hacía tiempo que le tenía ganas a este patrón. Es un bikini de estilo retro, con su forro y gomas por todos lados. No se mueve de sitio por más locuras que hagas. Me encantó coserlo y ver como estaba hecho. Es aquella sensación de estar haciendo un bikini de "verdad" lo que más me cautivó. La parte de arriba lleva una goma ancha debajo del pecho y hasta el cierre de la espalda. Yo no tenía goma de ese ancho y pregunté a Christina cómo podía hacerlo. Me dijo que, en lugar de elástico, podía poner la tela doble. ¡Y genial!

This pattern had been on my to-do list for long. It is a retro style bikini, with its lining and elastics everywhere. It stays in place no matter what you do. I so enjoyed sewing it and learning the construction method, which gave me the feeling of sewing "real" swimwear, if you know what I mean. The chest band uses elastic too, but I didn't have it in that width and Christina suggested that I could use double fabric instead. It has worked great!

La parte de abajo es más tapada que los otros bikinis que me hice y es muy cómoda. La verdad es que después de usarlos todos, puedo decir que me gustan ambos estilos, enseñando más o menos. Depende del día me va a apetecer más uno u otro.

The bottom has a good coverage and is super comfortable. My other bikinis are a bit more cheeky, and after using them all I can say that I love to have options and be able to choose the coverage I want depending on the day.

La tela es una lycra de Mamzelle Fourmi que gané en un sorteo. Con un metro pude sacar el bikini y el bañador que ya os enseñé aquí. Las fotos son del mismo día y, evidentemente, con la misma quemadura solar en la espalda jaja... Me voy a enlazar en la #semanadelaropadebaño.

Fabric is a swimwear lycra from Mamzelle Fourmi which I won on a giveaway. One meter was enough for the bikini and the swimsuit that I already showed you here. Took the pictures the same day, so the sun burn on the back appears here again.

Belle Skirt

Hoy vengo a MiMi muy bien acompañada por Laura de Con Mis Manitas. Hace unos días me propuso coser juntas la falda Belle de Wardrobe by Me, y voy a estarle eternamente agradecida, porque la falda me encanta y, si no fuera por su propuesta, no me la hubiera cosido. No os perdáis su versión, ¡ha utilizado una tela preciosa!

Today I am here to show you my new Belle Skirt by Wardrobe by Me. A few days ago, Laura from Con Mis Manitas proposed me to sew it together and I can't say thanks loud enough! If it weren't for her I would have probably never sewn it, and that would have been a shame, because I really love it! Do not miss her version, she used an incredibly beautiful fabric!

La verdad es que no soy muy de llevar faldas. Básicamente por la falta de costumbre. Pero hay que salir de la zona de confort de vez en cuando, así que me lancé de cabeza sin pensarlo dos veces.

The truth is that I am not much of a skirt person. I am not used to wearing them and always tend to pants instead. But it is good to get out of the comfort zone now and then, so when she asked I jumped right in!

El patrón me ha encantado. Me lo imaginaba más complicado, pero ha sido fácil de coser. La cinturilla que lleva es genial. Por delante es toda plana para no crear más bulto; por detrás lleva goma, así es fácil de poner y nos ahorramos las cremalleras. También lleva sus trabillas y un cinturón de la misma tela, que con este estampado, casi no se ve en las fotos.

I so love this pattern. I imagined that it would be more complicated, but it was surprisingly easy to sew. And the waist is great. It is flat on the front, without any unflattering gathers, and on the back it has elastic to make it comfortable to wear and avoid zippers. It also has a belt that I made with the same fabric and with the pattern it is quite hard to see in the pictures.

Algo a tener en cuenta es que hacen falta casi cuatro metros de tela. Tiene mucho vuelo, y las piezas de abajo son enormes. Vale totalmente la pena la inversión, pero como no estaba segura de si me iba a gustar, opté por una viscosa baratita de Ribes y Casals.

Para el dobladillo, probé el método que se explica en este tutorial de Itch to Stitch, y me ha ido de perlas. Primero pasando la over y después utilizando esa costura como guía para ir doblando y cosiendo sobre la marcha, sin planchar ni nada!

Something to take into account is that the skirt uses almost 4 meters of fabric. The bottom pieces are huge! It is totally worth the cost, but as I wasn't really sure about liking it, I opted for a cheap viscose from Ribes i Casals.

For the hem, I followed this tutorial by Itch to Stitch about how to do narrow curved hems. It worked perfect without needing to iron or anything else!

La camiseta de tirantes la he hecho a partir del patrón Wardrobe Builder Tee, también de WBM. Es un patrón de camiseta con mangas, pero me puse a experimentar y no ha quedado nada mal. En lugar de cortar el delantero y el trasero, corté dos delanteros, para tener también un buen escote en la espalda. Después, en lugar de terminarlo con puño, lo he terminado con una tira hacia dentro, a modo de vista.

For the top, I hacked the Wardrobe Builder Tee, also by WBM, into a tank. The pattern is for a t-shirt with sleeve, but I did a bit of an experiment and am quite happy with it! Instead of cutting the front and the back, I cut two fronts. This way I have the same neckline on the front and back. Then, instead of finishing it with a knit band like the tee, I sewed the band to the inside.

Y la verdad es que me sentí super cómoda paseando por la playa. Ese día había previsión de lluvia. Incluso se activaron alertas por inundaciones... Así que nada, para allá que nos fuimos, con un jersey y el paraguas en la mochila, y sin bañador, porque si llueve como que no nos vamos a bañar, no? Cuando está nublado salen fotos chulas, y además habrá menos gente para hacerme pasar vergüenza. Sí, claro. Sigue soñando.

I felt absolutely great walking in this outfit at the beach. That day it was supposed to be cloudy and raining. Even a flood alert was activated... So there we went, with a cardigan and umbrella on the bag, and obviously without the swimsuit, because we are not bathing if it rains, right? When it is cloudy pictures come out nice too, and there will be less people to make me feel embarrassed. Yes. Of course. Keep dreaming.

Cuando llegamos a Sitges hacía un sol abrasador. La playa estaba a tope de gente, y yo encima sin protección solar, porque si va a llover como que no hace falta. Pues nada, nos quemamos un poco, nos morimos de calor un mucho, pero pasamos un tarde genial y volvimos a casa con fotos chulas.

We arrived to Sitges to find a burning sun and a crowded beach, and I didn't even have my sun cream, because you don't need it if it is going to rain, right? So yes, we got a bit of a sunburn, we almost melted in the heat, but we had a great afternoon and came back home with nice pictures anyways.

Me quedé con las ganas de darme un buen chapuzón. Aunque sí metí las piernas, para refrescarme un poco los pies achicharrados. Por cierto, tengo que recomendaros el restaurante donde comimos, porque fue un gran descubrimiento y nos encantó! Es el Spice Garden, restaurante indio vegetariano. ¡Estaba todo buenísimo! Volveremos seguro.

I so wanted to jump into the water. At least I got the legs in, my feet were so overheated and it felt really refreshing. Oh, and by the way, if you ever come to Sitges, I really have to recommend the restaurant were we had lunch, because we loved it! Spice Garden, modern vegetarian indian, everything we ordered was delicious! We will be back for sure.

Noni compartida

Cómo me gustan las costuras compartidas. Hoy veréis muchas prendas con la misma tela en MiMi e Instagram. Carme de Palangana Parracs nos la regaló a Mei, a Merche y a mí después de conocernos en el taller de costura de bañadores que hicimos, pero no somos las únicas que participamos en el sarao.

Today I am here to show you my new kimono cardigan, made with a beautiful fabric that was a present from Palangana Parracs.

La tela fue sorpresa, hasta que abrí el sobre no tenía ni idea de cómo sería, y la verdad es que me encanta. Es de punto, algo transparente, con una caída bien chula, y enseguida me vino a la cabeza un kimono.

The fabric was a surprise and I had no idea about how it would be until I opened the envelope. It is a semi-transparent jersey with a nice drape, and I immediately saw a kimono cardigan.

Qué ganas de gasto innecesario tiene la gente en sus casas, en los restaurantes, los cines, o básicamente cualquier sitio cerrado en verano. En verano toca pasar calor, es lo natural. El aire acondicionado va muy bien si lo pones flojito para que el calor sea agradable y soportable. Pero ponerlo a temperaturas congelantes me parece de locos y me pone enferma, literal y metafóricamente.

People just go crazy in summer setting their air condictioners at freezing temperatures. Everywhere you go. You all, summer is supposed to be warm, so shouldn't we embrace warm and keep it natural? The air conditioner is great to keep a nice and pleasant warm but not too much temperature, but having to bear how they set it at such low temperatures just everywhere makes me literally sick.

Dicho sea de paso, este año nos hemos puesto por fin el aire en casa. El pasado verano me tocó trabajar a 30 grados en mi despacho, no hace falte que diga que se me derretían el ordenador y todas las neuronas, así que le dije a Ribi que este verano o aire o me pillaba vacaciones de tres meses hasta otoño. Jaja... tampoco hubiera estado mal eh. Mi temperatura de comfort es a unos magníficos 26-27 grados. Así que así de alto lo ponemos, y así se entiende porque en verano tengo que ir siempre con un jersey en el bolso para no congelarme en cualquier sitio que vaya. Pues eso, que este cardigan de estilo kimono me va genial para poder taparme un poco cuando me toque soportar el frío.

We just installed it at home a few weeks ago. Last summer I had to work at 30 celsius degrees in my home office, and I don't need to say that both my computer and brain ended totally melted, so I told Ribi that for this summer it was either an air conditioner or me taking 3 month holidays until autumm. Lol, that would have also been nice! My comfort temperature is at 26-27 degrees, and that is how we set the air conditioner. And that is why in summer I need to take a cardigan with me everywhere I go in order not to freeze. So, this cute kimono will be just great for that.

El patrón se basa más o menos en dos tutoriales: este y este, pero lo fui adaptando sobre la marcha.
Le he puesto unos flecos negros en el bajo para darle el toque de gracia.

The pattern is based on these two tutorials: this and this, but I modified it a bit as I went. I added this black fringe at the bottom for some fun.

Calypso femme

Hoy vengo a explicaros la historia de mi nuevo bañador y mi nueva toalla. Aunque también podría ser la historia de cómo hacerte un tatuaje en la espalda para todo el verano con la aplicación estratégica de crema solar (o no) jaja. La moraleja del cuento es "no te pongas tu misma la crema en la espalda porque te vas a dejar un cacho sin y te vas a quemar".

Today I am here to tell you the story of my new swimsuit and towel. But it could also very well be the story of how to get a sun lotion tatoo on the back... Lesson learnt. Do not apply the sun lotion yourself if you cannot reach it well, because you will leave a part with an odd shape without and you will get a sun burn.

Hace poco gané un sorteo chulo chulo en IG. Me tocó un patrón de bañador de la marca francesa Étoffe Malicieuse y un lote de telas de Mamzelle Fourmi que incluía una lycra para coserlo y tela para hacerme una toalla. ¡El kit completo!

A few weeks ago I won a really nice giveaway in IG. The prize was a swimsuit sewing pattern by the French brand Étoffe Malicieuse and a fabric kit from Mamzelle Fourmi including the lycra for the swimsuit and the fabrics to make a towel. The complete set!

El patrón Calypso femme incluye tres versiones muy distintas. Esta es la versión playa, hay otra de nadadora y otra con los hombros asimétricos. Los tres son chulísimos. Me ha encantado este patrón, sobretodo por las instrucciones tan completas que lleva. Están en francés, pero he podido entenderlo más o menos bien. Esta vez no he hecho ninguna modificación, pero en la próxima voy a seguir las instrucciones para subir un poco los laterales.

Calypso femme pattern includes tres different and equally cool versions. This is the beach version, there is also another for swimming and another with assymetrical shoulders. I really love the pattern, specially because it includes really detailed instructions. They are obviously in French, but I was able to understand more or less. This time I did not do any modifications, but for the next one I might open the legs a bit higher.

Lo voy a usar más en la piscina, pero como estábamos de mini vacaciones en la playa, aprovechamos para hacer las fotos. ¡Qué ganas de volver al Estartit tengo!

I will use it more for swimming at the pool, but since we were on mini vacation at the beach, we used our chance to take the pictures. And yes, I am dying to go there again.

La tela de lycra de Mamzelle Fourmi es chulísima, me encanta el estampado. Pude elegir la que más me gustaba de la tienda, y la elección no fue fácil, ¡todas eran tan bonitas! Y, aunque el bañador me encanta, esa toalla es un puntazo. Las que teníamos estaban muy viejas, y es de esas cosas que no se me hubiera ocurrido coserme si no me hubieran tocado las telas en el sorteo.

The lycra fabric by Mamzell Fourmi is so beautiful, I love the print. I was able to choose among all the prints available, and it was no easy choice at all, all of them were so nice! And although I love the swimsuit, the towel, ohhh the towel is just sooo amazing. Our beach towels were quite old, but this is one of those things you don't think of sewing, until you get the fabrics for free, of course hehehe.

Aquí también pude elegir los colores que quería, ¡y los elegí todos! En realidad tres medios metros me los regalaron, y el cuarto lo compré yo, porque la quería hacer enorme. Enseguida me imaginé una maxi toalla a rayas. Usé todo el ancho de la tela, así que mide aprox. 1,50 por 2 metros. Cabemos Ribi y yo y ya no se nos mete la arena en medio. Además es una tela super suave, por el lado bueno tiene un acabado aterciopelado que me encanta.

I chose all the available colors. Three half meters were the prize, and I bought the fourth one myself, because I wanted it big. I use the whole width of the fabric so it measures aprox. 1,50 x 2 m. Ribi and I both fit in it without any sand getting in between us. Aaaand the fabric is so soft, the right side has this velvety finish, really a dream to lay on.
